Introduction to the Newsletters

In the complete version of the CMS training, participants receive an industry analysis newsletter for each round.  The newsletters serve two purposes. They inform participants about changes in the industry: new products, markets, changes in stock price, etc.  Secondly, the newsletters analyze why teams are succeeding or failing in their efforts without “giving away” solutions to the teams.

Of course in a seminar where participants are making decisions in a compressed- time schedule, it is not possible to have newsletters written for each decision round.  In this case the instructor will analyze the results in real time after each round.

Here are a few sample newsletters from previous simulations.
